“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?” — James 2:14

Play Aloud

Faith is not passive. It was never meant to stay hidden within the walls of a church or the pages of a journal. Real faith steps out. It serves. It shows up. It gives. It loves—loudly, boldly, and consistently. That’s what Faith In Action is all about.

This section of Amen Today is dedicated to stories of Christians walking out their faith in everyday life. Not in search of recognition—but because Christ compels us to live differently.

Here, you’ll find stories of:

  • Volunteers feeding the hungry and caring for the homeless

  • Families opening their homes to foster children

  • Small groups rallying around their community in times of crisis

  • Workers bringing the love of Christ into their schools, hospitals, and workplaces

  • Churches stepping beyond their walls to be the hands and feet of Jesus

These are not miracle stories. These are obedience stories. Stories of people choosing to live out the Gospel in a broken world—not perfectly, but faithfully.

Our hope is that these examples stir something within you. Not guilt, but inspiration. Not comparison, but conviction. Because faith is not meant to sit still—it’s meant to move.

If you know of someone quietly serving, faithfully giving, or courageously stepping out in the name of Jesus, we invite you to share their story. This world needs more light, more action, more faith lived out loud.

Let this be a reminder: You don’t need a platform to make a difference. You just need faith—and the willingness to act.

Amen. Let it be lived.

With gratitude,

The Amen Today Team
