After Jude’s urgent reminder to stand firm in the truth, the Bible closes with one of the most powerful and awe-inspiring books in all of Scripture:

Revelation.

This final book points us to the return of Jesus, the victory of God, the defeat of evil, and the promise of a restored creation.

Revelation can feel mysterious, symbolic, and even difficult to understand at first. But at its heart, the message is clear:

The letters to the seven churches remind believers to stay alert, repent where needed, endure hardship, and remain faithful.

Some churches were struggling with compromise.

Stay awake.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Because the final word over creation is not fear, death, or defeat.

The final word is victory.
