After learning how to worship God in Leviticus, the story of Israel continues in Numbers.

At first glance, Numbers may seem like a book filled with censuses, lists, and travel records. In fact, its name comes from the two censuses recorded within its pages.

But beneath those numbers is a much deeper story.

Numbers is about a people learning to trust God while journeying through the wilderness.

Because fear replaced faith.

When twelve spies were sent to explore the land, only Joshua and Caleb trusted God's promise.

The rest of the people believed the giants were too powerful and refused to move forward.
